When UK REACH was introduced post-Brexit, substances already registered under EU REACH and placed on the UK market were originally expected to be registered under UK REACH by October 2021. UK REACH Returns with Another Consultation
On 14 July 2025, the UK Government launched a public consultation on extending UK REACH registration deadlines, citing delays in implementing the ATRm. Four options are under review, with Option 1 (Oct 2029–2031) preferred. The consultation also proposes aligning compliance check deadlines. Stakeholders can respond by 8 September 2025 via Citizen Space, email, or post.
